How to compare CS2 pro settings

Start with eDPI when comparing mouse sensitivity. It combines DPI and in-game sensitivity into one value: DPI × sensitivity = eDPI. Two players can use different DPI and sensitivity values but still have the same effective mouse sensitivity.

Resolution and aspect ratio affect the amount and shape of the rendered image, not the underlying mouse sensitivity. Crosshair size and thickness can also look different when the same values are displayed on another pixel grid.

Professional settings are useful reference points, not universal recommendations. Mouse shape, desk space, monitor distance and personal control matter more than copying one value in isolation.

Compare sensitivity

Use eDPI for the cleanest first comparison, then consider polling rate, zoom sensitivity and the player's role.

Mouse and monitor choices add context, but a popular product does not automatically make one setup better.
